Custom Automotive Paint Design
1973 Chevy Vandura Camper Van - CMDS.co designed a forest of silhouetted pines for the eye-catching design on this classic van. A night time paint job, we projected the scenes of trees, moons, camp sites, a UFO, and even Sasquatch onto the van, carefully cutting the design with razor blades from large sheets of sticky-backed masking paper. Atop the ombre base coat in shades of silvery-to-midnight blue, we gave the scene a coat of black for all the silhouetted elements, and then airbrushed in the camp sites and the glow from their little fires and lanterns. Once the design was complete, we gave the whole van a clear coat to seal it in and make it shine.
1971 Ford LTD Brougham 429SCJ - This one-of-a-kind custom paint scheme by CMDS.co transforms a factory black classic into an absolute showstopper. Featuring bold metal flake flames layered with hundreds of embedded stars and sealed with scarlet-tinted candy coats, the design is as rich in depth as it is in attitude. Collaborating with Tommy Lee’s Customs, we engineered a finish that’s both visually stunning and technically sound, down to paint compatibility, masking logistics, and body contour. From a lowered nose and raised rear via air shocks to red-anodized wheels and blackout detailing, every element was planned to amplify the car’s retro-modern edge. With a matching red-and-black velour interior and star patterns that shift in the light, this LTD isn’t just customized... it’s celestial.
1986 Toyota Turbo Pickup - CMDS.co blended nostalgia and motorsport heritage in this custom paint design for a rare charcoal-factory 1986 Toyota Turbo pickup. Inspired by '80s racing liveries and the iconic Back to the Future truck, we crafted a bold silver, orange, and black stripe pattern accented by a crisp white Toyota logo. The original charcoal nose was refreshed, a light bar and upgraded wheels were added, and the truck’s rare 22RE Turbo engine setup made it truly one-of-a-kind even before paint hit metal. Tommy Lee’s Customs brought the vision to life, including a custom-painted “Turbo” logo on the tailgate. Now a crowd-pleaser with a story, the truck continues to evolve under its new owner’s care.
1974 Dodge Van — The Mystery Machine - CMDS.co reimagined this factory light-blue ’74 Dodge van as a tribute to the iconic Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo, blending nostalgia with gritty authenticity. To preserve its original patina, the green graphics and logo were laid out true to the cartoon and distressed to match the decades-old finish, with expert paintwork by Tommy Lee’s Customs and a matte clear coat sealing it all in. Beneath the weathered look lies a full restoration: rebuilt 440 CI motor, 727 transmission, fresh wheels and tires, and a shagadelic interior in turquoise, avocado, and burnt orange. Upholstered head-to-toe in vintage fuzz (yes, even the pillows), this rolling homage to a cartoon come to life is also a fully functional time capsule, complete with a custom Scooby Snacks box in the back.
1977 Ford F-150 — The Double Z That Started It All - This fiery shortbed was the launchpad for CMDS.co’s signature style. Tommy Lee's Customs made sure that the custom double Z graphic that rips down both sides — one in stealthy carbon fiber charcoal, the other in pearlescent white flare — cut through the glossy red like lightning. With beast-mode tires, a roll bar, and chrome-drenched cabin, this truck doesn’t whisper bad to the bone; it roars it. With custom trim featuring a billet grille makes sure this Ford doesn’t just turn heads, it earns nods of respect.

Good Shepherd Entertainment - CMDS.co created Steam sale graphics for Good Shepherd Entertainment, designing a full suite of promotional graphics across multiple formats. CMDS.co created layered backgrounds, dynamic headers featuring in-game characters, and scalable sale assets in a range of sizes. To ensure long-term usability, I rebuilt each graphic from previously layered source files, giving the team clean, standalone versions. Inspired by Steam’s visual trends and the “fire and ice” theme from the featured titles, I designed a layered and multicolored, glowing, binary waterfall background to evoke a high-tech, gamer-forward aesthetic. The final result fused sleek design with visual storytelling under tight constraints. See the live site HERE.
Custom Button Labels - Absurdity meets precision in this set of custom button labels, designed for a switch panel in a custom car at Tommy Lee's Customs. Each tiny icon - from Bigfoot to banana peels; from "Apocalypse" to a UFO light beam - is a humorous visual punchline, built purely to entertain. Set atop amber and red glowing buttons, these labels turn everyday switches into a conversation piece. A perfect sample of CMDS.co's graphic design work for decals, stickers, and miscellaneous applications, highlighting CMDS.co's ability to blend offbeat charm with functional creativity. CD/LP/single covers - Each design begins with a deep listen: to the artist's intent, the tone of the record, and the emotional weight behind the songs. CMDS.co takes time to absorb the music and the vision before touching the canvas, translating audio into visuals that resonate with meaning and personality. The goal is to create album art that stands out on shelves and screens while preserving space for logos, branding, and signatures for physical editions. CMDS.co designs complete packages for print and digital formats, including front and back covers, disc labels, booklets, tray cards, posters, and promo assets, ensuring every visual element reflects the heart of the album.

Book Cover & Print Layout Design - Each project begins with the book itself: we read the manuscript and collaborate with the author and/or publisher to understand the vision behind the story and how it should be visually represented. CMDS.co designs front and back covers to spec, carefully placing titles, names, and artwork with bleed lines and cut zones in mind. Spines are sized to match precise page counts, and back covers receive full layout treatment, including writing and laying out blurbs, collecting and incorporating quotes, and adding publisher’s marks, UPCs, copyright notices, and other essential elements. CMDS.co also handles pre-press prep and digital conversion to ensure the design transitions seamlessly from print to ebook.
